Easwar Krishna Iyer is a PhD in the area of Cloud Computing [Centurion University of Technology and Management] and a triple Post Graduate from Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur [M-Tech], Great Lakes Institute of Management Chennai [MBA] and University of Houston [Global Energy MBA]. Currently, he is Associate Professor in the stream of Marketing. As an institution builder, Dr. Easwar gives equal importance to the four pillars of academic excellence – Teaching, Research, Academic Administration and Consultancy. A professor with high student ratings, the teaching part pans over courses like Marketing Management (1&2), Strategic Marketing, Marketing and CRM (MCRM), Digital Marketing and Markstrat (the INSEAD simulation game). The current Research focus is on areas like Technology Adoption, Green Computing, Cloud Computing and Internet of Things. He also has an extensive research background in the core Technology area with several international publications in journals as varied as Electronics Letters, Microwave & Optical Technology Letters and Applied Superconductivity. Dr. Easwar has been the Director of Admissions for over a decade now with his experience spread across two Business Schools (Amrita School of Business 2006 -2010; Great Lakes Institute of Management 2010 - current). As Director Admissions, Dr. Easwar is well versed with functions like Budgeting, Media Mix Management, Creative Development, Online and Print Media reach out, Evaluation Criteria Creation, Setting up entire admissions function in cloud space and finally Target / Revenue Management. In the last decade, he has admitted over 3000 students into different programs in Management.

Dr. Easwar is an empanelled Subject Matter Expert in Marketing and Allied Streams with M/s Tata Consultancy Services since 2017. The current contract runs for three years. He is also an empanelled training vendor for M/s Coca Cola India offering sessions on Consumer Marketing for their Leadership Development Program – LEAP. In addition, Dr. Easwar has conducted corporate MDP sessions in Marketing and Pricing for various companies like TVS, HCL, Ashok Leyland, RAMCO, Eppendorf, Amara raja and the likes. Widely travelled (over 20 countries), Dr. Easwar is a regular GMAC annual conference attendee in USA for the last seven years.
