Dr. Sandeep Srivathsan is currently an Associate Professor in the area of Operations Management and the Program Director for PGPM Flex. Prior to joining Great Lakes, he has worked as a post-doctoral researcher at Oklahoma State University (OSU), Stillwater, OK, USA, and Nanyang Technological University, Singapore for over four years. He holds MS and PhD degrees in Industrial Engineering and Management from OSU, and a BE degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Madras.

His teaching interest are in the area of operations research, operations management, statistics, supply chain optimization and time series forecasting.

His research interests are in the area of queueing theory, analytical modeling of supply chain networks and after-sales service networks, and air traffic management. He has published in journals like Computers and Industrial Engineering, Computers and Operations Research, IISE Transactions, Transportation Research Part B: Methodological, and Naval Research Logistics.

He has reviewed papers for top journals like Decision Sciences, European Journal of Operational research, IEEE Transactions on Intelligent Transport Systems, International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Production Research, and Transportation Research Part E: Logistics and Transportation Review.
