Dr. Ambika Prasad Nanda

Prof. Ambika Prasad Nanda is an Associate Professor of Marketing at Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. He earned his doctorate from S P Jain Institute of Management and Research and was awarded with three competitive research grant during his doctoral studies. 

His research examines consumer behaviour across two contrasting ends of the consumption spectrum: compulsive consumption and anti-consumption. His scholarly work has been published in leading journals, including The Journal of Macromarketing, Psychology and Marketing, International Journal of Consumer Studies, and Young Consumers.

With over 5 years of academic experience, Prof. Nanda brings a rich practitioner perspective to the classroom. Prior to entering academia, he spent more than 12 years in the industry, holding diverse roles across both manufacturing and service sectors. His blend of industry expertise and research-driven insights enables him to connect marketing theory with contemporary business practice.
