The PGPM Class of 2022 witnessed an excellent placement season with the average CTC of the batch growing by 31% from 13.6 lakhs p.a. to 17.86 Lakhs p.a. The highest domestic CTC offered to the batch was 35 Lakhs p.a. by a major multinational software products corporation. The 2023 season for the PGPM Batch saw participation from major recruiters like Microsoft, Accenture, ADP, Bain, Bristlecone, Deloitte, Cognizant, EY GDS, FedEx, HCL, Infosys, Incedo, Optum, Tiger Analytics, Zoom, and ZS Associates.
Dr. Suresh Ramanathan, Dean & Principal, Great Lakes Institute of Management, said, “This year saw an overwhelming response from recruiters with placements getting wrapped up in record time and with a significant increase in salaries and the quality of roles offered. It has been heartening to see some of our top recruiters increasing their hiring this year while we also added new recruiters. I would like to thank all our Recruiters who have been hiring from us year on year including those who hired in the last two years.”
The PGPM Class of 2022 was also offered a diverse portfolio of roles including Business & Strategy Consulting (42%), Technology Consulting (25%), Finance (8%), Product (7%), Operations (7%), Analytics (6%) and Sales & Marketing (5%). Some of the roles offered to the class were Product Manager, Account Manager, Lead Consultant, Marketing Analyst, Retail Logistician, Team Leader, Project Manager, Product Marketing Manager, Customer Success Manager, Business Analyst, Project Engagement Principal to name a few.
