Kotler - Srinivasan Centre for Research in Marketing

Dr. Seenu V Srinivasan, the Adams Distinguished Professor of Management, Emeritus and Director of the Strategic Marketing Management Executive Programat the Stanford Graduate School of Business (GSB), Stanford University, USA and Dr. Philip Kotler, Marketing Guru have been the key inspirers behind the launch of our research center for marketing at Great Lakes Institute of Management. This center has been named after them as "Kotler-Srinivasan Center for Research in Marketing" and it will address and enhance marketing based research in India.

With a combination of marketing academics and professionals working towards the creation of intellectual property, we are proud to be the first dedicated center for marketing analytics among business schools in India.

The center receives financial as well as knowledge support from both the stalwarts and the core functions of the center are conducting conferences, seminars, workshops and publishing case studies, monographs & research reports in the area of marketing. "Kotler-Srinivasan Center for Research in Marketing" is currently Headed and Directed by Dr. S. Bharadhwaj.

Aim & Objectives of the Center

  • To undertake original academic research and investigative enquiry into marketing problems facing Indian companies
  • To provide consulting solutions to companies faced with issues pertaining to business intelligence, advanced analytics and data mining
  • To conduct training and intensive acclimatization in the areas of business intelligence and analytics for management faculty in addition to developing a "think tank" that can design original courseware for management students in Indian institutions.
