Narassima M. S. is an Assistant Professor of Operations at the Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. He completed his Ph.D. in Supply Chain, M.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering, and B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. He has industrial experience in data analytics, system modelling, supply chain, etc. Presently, he has 47 publications in International Journals and Conferences. He serves as a reviewer for international journals. He managed the projects for the Department of Social Defense (Govt. of Tamil Nadu) and the Department of Social Welfare (Govt. of Tamil Nadu and UNICEF). He offers evidence-based solutions to real-time industrial problems, largely using modelling and simulation. His research areas include Supply Chain Management, Simulation and Modelling, Production and Operations Management, Sustainability, Public Health, etc. He teaches courses like Operations Simulation, Sustainable Practices in Supply Chain, Logistics and Distribution Management, Unstructured Problem Solving and Management Consulting, Excel, Python, and Optimization Methods for the regular and executive MBA programs.
