Winter Conference on Sustainable Business 2025

Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, hosted the prestigious 4th International Research Conference on Sustainable Business (WCSB) on December 10th & 11th, 2025 under the aegis of the Centre of Excellence for Sustainable Development. The conference was focused on the theme “Sustainability Focused Growth: Redefining Business Success in a Dynamic Environment,” the conference brought together academicians, policymakers, industry leaders and researchers to engage in two days of impactful dialogue, interdisciplinary exchange, and collaborative learning.

This edition strengthened WCSB’s standing as a premier platform for advancing research-driven insights in sustainable business, bringing together 33 peer-reviewed papers, a series of expert sessions, distinguished addresses, industry-focused discussions, and a cultural evening in partnership with SPIC MACAY.

The conference opened with a rigorous pre-doctoral programme designed to sharpen research capabilities among emerging scholars.

  • balancing AI tools with authentic scholarly voice,

Industry Panel Discussion: Designing for Circularity

A powerful panel featuring Mr. Shrashtant Patara, Mr. Thakur Pherwani, Mr. Abhishek Ranjan, and Ms. Sarika Gosain, moderated by Mr. Sanjay Kahjuria, examined the operational and strategic imperatives of circularity.

  • the inevitability of circular models in future supply chains,
  • circularity as a value-creation driver rather than a CSR obligation,
  • the need for ecosystem-level transformation.
