PGPM 2022-23 INTERIM PLACEMENT REPORT
The PGPM Class of 2022-23 had an excellent placement season with participation from a diverse set of marquee recruiters such as Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, ZS Associates, Silicon Labs, Incedo, Tiger Analytics, ArcelorMittal, Genpact, Virtusa, Infosys, KPMG, LTI to name a few. The average CTC of the batch increased to 15.8 Lakhs while the highest Domestic CTC increased to 33.3 Lakhs from 20.2 lakhs offered by a global semiconductor firm.
ITES (50%) was the largest recruiting industry followed by Consulting (41%) and Analytics (8%). Many consulting majors such as Accenture, Deloitte and KPMG recruited from the program with Deloitte being the largest recruiter with 26 offers made. As on 25th February, 2023, 90% of the batch has been placed and the remaining are expected to be placed in the next few weeks well before the program ends.
Dr. Debashis Sanyal, Director, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, said, “2022 has been a great year for placements with some excellent new recruiters participating in the recruitment drive with diverse roles. The response by Corporates and the overall sentiment has been overwhelmingly positive with few recruiters coming more than once to hire our students in the same year.”
Many of the roles offered were in different areas of Consulting (64%) followed by Analytics (15%) and Sales, Marketing & Product (14%). Offers in Consulting included Business, Strategy, Digital and Functional consulting from organizations like Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte, Incedo, Infosys, KPMG & Virtusa. Business Analyst, Senior Business Consultant, Data Consultant, Product Manager, Product Sales Manager, Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis, Manager, Project Manager, were some of the other profiles offered to the PGPM Class of 2023.
