Winter Conference on Sustainable Business
Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, India, is hosting its fourth International Research Conference ‘Winter Conference on Sustainable Business (WCSB), under the aegis of The Center of Excellence for Sustainable Development, at the Gurgaon campus on 10th & 11th December 2025.
The theme for WCSB 2025 is “Sustainability Focused Growth: Redefining Business Success in a Dynamic Environment.” In today’s rapidly evolving world, sustainability encompasses environmental, social, and economic dimensions, requiring businesses to strike a balance between short-term profitability and long-term impact. While the challenges are complex, they also open doors to innovation—new products, services, business models, and cost efficiencies through energy conservation, waste reduction, and resource optimization. Strong sustainability practices further enhance brand reputation, attract conscious consumers, and reduce business risks.
The conference aims to bring together academicians, policymakers, industry leaders, and sustainability experts to share insights and strategies for embedding sustainable practices into core business models, operations, and decision-making. It will serve as a platform for addressing challenges, identifying opportunities, and advancing research across all areas of management, while also enabling participants to engage with editors of leading journals in relevant fields.
