The inaugural Winter Business School Conference (WBSC), 2022 by Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurgaon, will be held on the 19th & 20th of December, 2022.
The theme for the conference is ‘Sustainability’. With the ever-growing economy and the need and demand for continuous growth, it is imperative that businesses follow sustainable best practices. This means a convergence between efficient functional business areas and sustainable practices. This entails a dialogue between experts in a long-term vision of sustainability and those who pursue excellence in short-term efficiency. Nowhere is this interaction more necessary than in emerging economies. Given that a large part of global demand as well as production growth will be from emerging economies, it is a must that emerging economies are major stakeholders in the sustainability process. The inaugural WBSC plans to create a platform that initiates a dialogue between academicians who are experts in sustainable practices and industry heads, who are trying to adapt and adopt the best practices.
The conference has been designed to have three broad conference flows. First, there will be Expert Talks structured around experts sharing their ideas on the platform. Second, researchers will present roadmaps and ideas supported by rigorous analysis and research. Finally, industry experts will share ideas on adapting and adopting best practices! The three flows will be supplemented by a conversation with Journal Editors who are at the forefront of cutting-edge research in various sustainability areas.
We invite abstracts from the following management disciplines:
- Business Strategy
- Finance and Accounting
- Marketing Management
