Swetha Shree R is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics, holding a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and Master of Philosophy in Economics. She has qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) on two separate occasions — for Assistant Professor and for PhD — and has also cleared the Tamil Nadu State Eligibility Test (SET) for the position of Assistant Professor. She has previously served as an Assistant Professor and Visiting Faculty at various colleges, teaching subjects ranging from Macroeconomics, Monetary and International Economics, accumulating over six years of teaching experience across postgraduate and undergraduate programmes. She has also developed two Open Educational Resources, reflecting her commitment to accessible knowledge dissemination. Looking ahead, she aspires to pursue a doctoral degree, with the goal of contributing meaningfully to academic research and policy through rigorous scholarly inquiry.
