Summer Internship Placement Report 2020

Great Lakes Institute of Management emerged as a talent pool of choice for a number of corporates during the Summer Placement process for the 8th batch of PGDM Class of 2019-21. The season witnessed a plethora of reputed corporates like JPMorgan Chase & Co, CRISIL, Société Générale, Disrupt capital, AuditShipment, McKinsey & Co, BigBasket, HundredPlus, KALS Group, VokseDigital, Vivriti Capital, Bridgestone, TaurusQuest, KARL STORZ, Arvind Brands, Ninjacart to name a few participating in the placements process and offering roles across high-demand domains like Analytics, Sales & Marketing, Finance and Operations.

Key Highlights

  • All 164 students participating in the summer internship process (13 opted for projects on their own - off campus) received offers from 50+ corporates in a diverse set of companies across Sales & Marketing, Finance, Operations, Analytics and Consulting domains.
  • Most profiles were offered in Sales and Marketing (43%), and Finance (31%), followed by Operations (12%), Analytics (9%) and General Management(5%)
  • BFSI industry made the most offers (25%), followed by IT/ITES (17%), FMCG (13%) and Ecommerce (9%)
  • Highest stipend of INR 3,38,568 and lowest stipend of INR 45,000 offered for the internship period
  • Average stipend of INR 84,710 offered for the internship period
