Great Lakes Institute of Management was once again a preferred choice of talent for recruiters during the recently concluded Summer Placement process for the fifth batch of PGDM Class of 2016-18, the Mauryas. The season witnessed a plethora of reputed corporates like Amazon, J P Morgan, Aditya Birla, Nestle, ITC, Dell, RBI, World Bank, HSBC, Genpact, EY, Taj Hotels, Fidelity to name a fewparticipating in the placement process and offering roles across domains like Analytics, Consulting, Finance, Operations and Sales/Marketing.

Key Highlights

All 105 students participating in the process (12 opted for projects on their own – off campus) received offers from 50 diverse set of companies across Analytics, Consulting, Finance, Operations and Sales & Marketing domains
First time offers by reputed Corporates like Aditya Birla Retail, Birla Sunlife, Fidelity, Genpact, GEP, Nestle, ITC, Shopclues and World Bank
Maximum profiles offered in Sales & Marketing (47%) followed by Finance (28%) and Operations (18%)
Majority of the offers were made in BFSI sector (34%) followed by IT/ITES (15%).E-commerce, FMCG and Pharma/Healthcare contributed 11%, 9% and 8% respectively
Highest stipend of INR 1,20,000 and average stipend of INR 50,000 offered for the internship
