Dr. Jones Mathew Quoted in 'ChatGPT presents challenges but could be used as a pedagogical tool' by Education Times

When Google was launched it quickly became a go-to destination for students for finding answers but soon software such as Turitin enabled educators to effectively check plagiarism. “The challenge for educators will be to create systems that will be difficult for students to easily replicate. The faculty will have to be creative with asking rigorous questions. Content writers may get in trouble because anyone can generate content, but the brainwork and the logic required to use that content can help keep the chatbot under control. Also, technology moves fast just as ChatGPT is making waves, prediction engineers have already come up with GPTZero, which help finds if an assignment is plagiarised from ChatGPT, just like the Turnitin and other similar software which enables academicians to maintain academic integrity,” says Jones Mathew, professor, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Gurugram.
