Narassima M. S. is an Assistant Professor of Operations at the Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai. He completed his Ph.D. in Supply Chain, M.Tech in Manufacturing Engineering, and B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore. He has industrial experience in data analytics, system modelling, supply chain, etc. Presently, he has 35 publications in International Journals and Conferences. He managed the projects for the Department of Social Defense (Govt. of Tamil Nadu) and the Department of Social Welfare (Govt. of Tamil Nadu and UNICEF). He likes to take up real-time problems and provide solutions to improve functional and operational effectiveness, largely using quantitative methods and simulation techniques. His research areas include Supply Chain Management, Simulation and Modelling, Sustainability, Production and Operations Management, Public Health, etc.
