Empirical Study

By way of better achieving the institute's mission of creating business ready managers, an empirical study requirement has been introduced as part of our PGPM program.

All coordination with respect to this empirical study will be handled by the Yale-Great Lakes Center for Management Research (referred to as Yale Center henceforth).

This empirical study will be done either individually or by a group of two or three students jointly. It will span the entire year and will count as six credits (equivalent to two 3-credit courses), and will require not less than 120 hours of input per student.

The expected outcome of the empirical study is a paper coauthored by the students with their faculty guides and industry mentors, to be submitted to a refereed journal or conference.
