"Your Network is your Net Worth," - words of Late Dr. Bala V. Balachandran, Founder and Former Chairman of Great Lakes Institute of Management. This network, for a management professional, opens the doors to a vast number of opportunities for a lifetime.
Great Lakes Gurgaon believes in the power of a strong alumni network. An MBA journey begins at a business school and continues throughout a person’s career, and the Alumni Network is at the core of this journey after graduation. Keeping this in mind, the Great Lakes Institute of Management (Gurgaon) Alumni Relations committee was formed.
Great Lakes has nurtured business leaders, entrepreneurs, educators and so many more for a better tomorrow for the nation. The association seamlessly connect the institute to all those who have been nurtured in the campus and to their fellow alumni, faculty and the current students through Newsletters, Emails, Annual Alumni Meets and other special events.
GLIM Alumni Relations has three major areas of focus:
- Connect: Ensuring that the alumni of Great Lakes Institute of Management have a lasting connection with their Alma Mater and can easily access a wide range of alumni resources and services.
- Engage: Creating an interface between the students and the alumni, engaging them for mentorship, placement talks and events, and building the foundation of the alumni network among students on campus.
- Foster: Bringing together alumni through the years to enable exchange of insights and opportunities for the professional growth of students as well as alumni.

It’s these memories we wish for you to relive every time you think of Great Lakes Gurgaon and remember those glorious days.
Nobody can deny how powerful a strong Alumni network is for an institute; the best institutions are those who have an unbreakable bond with their Alumni. The essence of bridging gaps between what is the past and what will be the future is what we hope to do as members of the Alumni Committee. Our aim is to celebrate the achievements of every single member of our Great Lakes family and proudly put your accomplishments on display. Alumni are an essential resource for the community and are a living proof of the power of the education imparted down on us; real life examples on how you could reach where you are by trying hard enough.
