On the occasion of Navratri, student community of Great Lakes, Chennai celebrated Garba Night on Thursday, 18th October 2018 at the campus. Garba is a traditional dance, performed in circles, symbolizing the cycle of time - birth, life, death, rebirth. It is also a celebration of the victory of good over evil - the celebration of Goddess Durga's triumph over the demon King Mahishashur. The students paid tribute to Goddess Durga and danced to rejoice the occassion. Dr. Vaidy Jayaraman, Associate Dean joined the celebrations.
