9th UBI Finance Conference held at Great Lakes, Chennai

Great Lakes hosted 9th Annual UBI – Finance Conference on March 4, 2019 at campus. The conference began with inaugural ceremony where Dr. Bala welcomed the gathering and delivered the opening remarks on this year’s theme for the conference –” Competition, cooperation and Trade offs – India’s fiscal and monetary policies, and the banking sector. Chief Dr. Viral V Acharya, Deputy Governor – RBI delivered the key note address ‘Why less can be more – Crowding out effects of Government Financing’. Guest of honor Mr. Tamal Bandopadhyay, Author & Consulting Editor, Business Standard, and Mr. KalyanKumar, Principal, UBI Staff College, also delivered lectures based on the theme in the presence of our CEO & Vice-Chairman Mr Mohan Lakhamraju, Associate Dean Dr Vaidy Jayaraman, Prof. Sanjoy Sircar, Shri Sankaran, staff and students.
