Meet Sathish Seshadri, Vice President & Senior Strategist, Genpact
When Sathish joined Great Lakes Institute of Management in 2005, he brought with him a deep curiosity about consulting and strategy, about how organisations make sense of change, how leaders chart their next move, and how conviction is built amid uncertainty. That curiosity has since become the defining thread of his career.
Over the years, Sathish’s professional journey has taken him across North America, Europe, China, Africa, Ukraine, and Peru, advising global enterprises on strategy design, acquisition integration, and digital transformation. Each market, he reflects, revealed the importance of context, how strategies that seem elegant in theory evolve and adapt when tested in the real world.
At Genpact, where he currently serves as VP and Senior Strategist, Sathish leads initiatives at the intersection of AI, growth, and transformation. He is presently driving the company’s pivot toward Agentic AI, reimagining how technology, talent, and strategy converge to deliver enterprise value. Earlier, he also incubated and scaled Genpact’s Sustainability Services from concept to a thriving business within two years.
Across roles, Sathish has come to define strategy as a balance of Choice, Value, and Action. As he often says, "Successful strategy depends on building alignment with trust, and adapting fast with situational awareness."
Beyond his corporate role, Sathish is an active teacher, writer, and thought leader, sharing insights on strategy, technology, and sustainability at platforms such as IIM Udaipur and the Business World Sustainable World Conclave. Personally, he is a strong advocate for longevity and mindful living, investing time in strength training, endurance sports, and reflective learning.
Curious by nature and thoughtful by practice, Sathish remains a lifelong learner. Ask him about anything new, and he’ll likely have a podcast recommendation to match. For him, learning, much like strategy, is a continuous act of exploration and sense-making.
