Program Management Specialist, Adobe
PGPM 2012

Alumni Series #11

Prachi Garg ( CSM, SAFe Agilist) transitioned from IT to pursue a PGPM at Great Lakes Institute of Management, aiming to broaden her perspective. The program's intensity, diverse peer group, and focus on rigorous inquiry transformed her approach to challenges and interpersonal interactions.

Both classroom learning and group projects fostered meticulous questioning and a consistent acceptance of uncertainty. While on campus, she and her classmates conceived Ghoomophiro.com, a travel initiative that created safer opportunities for women to travel alone or in groups. The initial photoshoot for this venture on the Great Lakes campus remains a significant memory.

Her career since then reflects range and continuity. As an entrepreneur she authored five bestselling books that document the work of Indian changemakers.

In her corporate role at Adobe she contributes to digital transformation with a clear focus on customer outcomes. Her efforts have been recognised with the ET Leadership Award and the Indian Achiever’s Award, and she has been profiled as a Change Maker in Femina. She speaks at universities and companies, including the University of Texas, and mentors women in STEM and entrepreneurship.

Through each chapter she has kept the same disciplines learned on campus: learn with humility, build with others, and ensure that technology serves people.
