A Message for our Alumni

Dear Lakers,

Alumni of institutions are the roving ambassadors of that institution and alumni build institutions into great brands. Great Lakes is no exception. From about 130 in 2006, today we boast of a strength of 10,000 + graduates. Our alumni network is spread over all the continents both, across corporate and academia. We also now have a Great Lakes Institute of Management Alumni Association that is a registered body with close to 20 chapters in India and overseas. Alumni chapters meet on a regular basis but at least once per quarter. Apart from India we have had alumni meets in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Our Alumni have a made a name for themselves be it a PE Fund, start ups, Agro-Tech, Fintech, photography or stand up comedy that has gone a long way in accreditations such as AMBA, SAQS and also made it possible that we are in the top 10 of various B School rankings . Now that we have more than threshold numbers, it is time for the alumni to build this connection further into an emotional one and give back to the alma mater. We appeal to all our Great Lakers to collaborate with us in Research, building Case Studies, Placements and Corporate Connect, Training Programs besides creating scholarships and faculty chairs so that Great Lakes moves from success to substance.
