Director, Sys Two Analytics & Research
PGPM Class of 2005
Progressing from a Trainee Consultant at Price Waterhouse Coopers to Director in a Private Limited Company, Great Lakes has been a game changer as it enabled me to learn from world class faculty at an affordable cost.
I was working as a Trainee Consultant at Price Waterhouse Coopers before joining Great Lakes. At present, I am working as Director with Sys Two Analytics & Research (India) Private Limited which provides equity research services to US clients based out of Chennai.
Great Lakes have been a game changer as it enabled me to learn from world class faculties at an affordable cost. I learnt that most learned people are humble and committed. Knowledge has to be improved, challenged, and increased constantly, or it vanishes, famously said by Peter Drucker. The education by Great Lakes embodied the same principle which was instrumental in enhancing my career.
There were three faculty members who impressed me the most. The faculty member name is Prof Jayaraman. He guided us in setting up management consultancy division in Great Lakes during first year. He didn’t charge a dime for his services. His actions acted as a testimony to the principle “Nishkam Karma (action performed without any expectations of results). Prof S.P Kothari (MIT Sloan) and Prof. R. Vaidyanathan (IIMB) teachings had a profound impact in my life.
Great Lakes provides immense scope for learning and world class management education at an affordable cost.
Great Lakes should establish a venture capital fund to fund start up by his students addressing social challenges faced by Indian citizens. Will support the initiative to best of my abilities
