Strategic Marketing Workshop
A full day workshop was held by IIMC Alumni Association Chennai Chapter at Great Lakes Chennai campus on Saturday November 30, 2013.
The workshop covered a case discussion on “Can Technology Based Innovation Be strategic Marketing Levers” by Ms. Gowri Mukherjee, Global Head, Digital Marketing, Standard Chartered Bank. The case was also as a competition to the students of PGPM program where the students presented their ideas and strategies to a panel of 10 senior members from the IIMC Alumni Chennai chapter on the topic of “Plastic or Phone which way is the wind blowing”.
More than 150 students participated in the case competition out of which 6 shortlisted teams presented their strategy to the panel.
Later, an interactive session was held by Ms. Pramad Jhandyala. Co-Founder and Director, Latent View on the topic, “Drowning in Data, Starving for Insights” with the Great Lakes students where the students were able to clear various questions about the practical aspects of Business Analytics in today’s competitive business environment.
Besides the sessions, IIMC Alumni also interacted with Great Lakes students and provided great insights through their rich experience in various fields.
