PGP-BABI launched at Pune
Great Lakes' analytics program (Post Graduate Program in Business Analytics and Business Intelligence) was launched successfully at Pune. Dr. Shankar, MD and India Head of ZS Associates was the chief guest for the event. Mr. Mohan Lakhamraju, Vice-chairman, Great Lakes Institute of Management and Dr. Bappaditya Mukhopadhyay, Program Director - BABI, Gurgaon were also present at the event.
The program is designed exclusively for working professionals ranging from young executives who wish to embark on managerial careers in analytics to senior industry leaders who wish to add analytics capabilities to grow their businesses.
Talking at the inauguration, Dr. Shankar congratulated Great Lakes on this milestone and also emphasized on the need of courses such as these which benefits aspiring professionals as well as the industry. He also spoke about industry application of analytics and trends around the corner.
Addressing the gathering at Pune, Mr. Mohan Lakhamraju, vice-chairman, Great Lakes said, “Great Lakes analytics program has a unique curriculum which blends analytics and general management with lots of real life case studies. The first batch in Pune has 58 participants from reputed companies with an average work experience of almost 10 years. 43% of the class has over 10 years of work experience. With this, the Business Analytics program is now being held in four locations in the country - Chennai, Gurgaon, Bangalore and Pune.
