Mr Jayanth Murthi, Kaizen Institute
Mr Jayanth Murthi, Managing Director, Kaizen Institute addressed our students and staff members on 17 October 2019. In his speech he explained the importance of ‘Physical’, ‘Process’ and ‘Policy’ improvement with high ‘People’ Engagement. Along with the 4P’s, he also explained the 5S system of space organization to perform efficiently and effectively. He mentioned that ‘Kaizen’, the Japanese term meaning 'continual improvement' along with the concept of ‘Gemba’ meaning ‘real place’. So according to Kaizen, in order to do improvements, we should start by going to Gemba. He outlined the importance of changing habits for betterment in real life, and real situations. And concluded by saying a Kaizen mantra, Delete before you add.
