Great Lakes hosts its annual Human Capital Management (HCM) conference
Great Lakes hosted its annual Human Capital Management Conference (HCM) on August 18, 2014 at its Chennai campus. The annual event is envisioned as a platform to bring together the best of HR leaders in the industry and potential managers of future. The theme for this year’s conference was “Impact of technology in Human Capital Management”.
Mr. Rajeev Dubey, President – Group HR, Corporate Services, and Aftermarket Sector, Mahindra & Mahindra was the Chief Guest for the session. The key note address was given by Mr. Samir Kumar, Managing Director, DBOI Global Services Pvt. Ltd., India, Deutsche Bank Group and the Presidential Address was given by Mr. Kumar Vembu, Founder & CEO, Go Frugal Technologies.
Speaking at the event on the current and future trends in HR, Mr. Rajeev Dubey said, “Technology is necessary but not sufficient for creating business values, Leadership is all that matters”. He emphasized on the human aspect in running a business.
Addressing the gathering, Mr. Samir Kumar said that technology is bringing new dimensions to how things work in the business in today’s scenario. Adding to his views Mr. Kumar Vembu shared his thoughts on how technology has become inseparable in life today and how important it is to not compromise on the eroding values in business due to the impact of technology.
