Great Lakes and MCCI organize SHE LEADS Campaign
Great Lakes Institute of Management, in association with Madras Chamber of Commerce of Industry (MCCI) organized a three day residential leadership program for the winners of ‘SHE LEADS’ Campaign. SHE LEADS is a nationwide social media campaign initiated by The British Deputy High Commission of India in partnership with The Madras Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) and Women of Worth – A Unit of Provide, to recognize aspirational young women across India. The campaign, open to graduate and post graduate students, identified and felicitated 10 Women on February 28, at an event where Her Excellency, Lt. Governor of Puduchery, Dr. Kiran Bedi was the chief guest.
The three day residential leadership program for the winners of ‘SHE LEADS’ Campaign was organized at Great Lakes campus at Manamai. Mrs. K. Saraswathi, Secretary General, MCCI and Dr. Vaidy Jayaraman, Associate Dean – Great Lakes Institute of Management, Chennai addressed and interacted with the participants/winners of the Campaign.
This leadership program designed and delivered by Great Lakes, covered topics such as Emotional Intelligence, Development Economics, and Leading a Team. Partnering with Great Lakes, Mrs. K. Saraswathi appreciated the institute for coming up with a well - designed and structured program for the finalists. She remarked that MCCI is particularly happy for having been associated with Great Lakes for conducting the workshop.
