Great Lakers visit Singapore and Malaysia
PGDM 2016 students visit Singapore and Malaysia as part of Foreign Immersion Program
PGDM Class of 2016 visited the Asian economic powerhouses of Malaysia and Singapore as part of the Foreign Immersion Program in their curriculum.
The PGDM students visited a multitude of companies including Yakult, Cordage, Tiger Breweries, Crayon Data and DBS to understand ASEAN business. In addition, they also attended programs organized at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore and Universiti Tun Abdul Razak in Kuala Lumpur. The Program culminated with an alumni meet in Singapore, where Great Lakes alumni working at the Lion City interacted with the students.
The PGDM program which focuses on understanding different economies of the world also brings to the forefront the intricacies of doing business with several countries. In order to provide the students a firsthand experience of the same, the visits to Singapore and Malaysia was organized this year which in turn offered a real time experience for the students.
