Semester Abroad Program
Great Lakes offers “Advanced Management Program (AMP)” with IAE Bordeaux University School of Management – Université Montesquieu Bordeaux IV for Great Lakes PGPM students. On satisfactory completion of this innovative program, participants will be awarded an AMP - University of Bordeaux Diploma in European Business Administration. The program duration is 6 weeks, subject to a minimum registration of 15 participants and a maximum of 30.
IAE Bordeaux University School Of Management – Université Montesquieu Bordeaux IV has announced in association with the Great Lakes Institute of Management, a 6 weeks program in Bordeaux, intended for PGPM students from Great Lakes. This « Advanced ManagementProgram » - AMP of 6-weeks duration, will complete the initial 49 weeks training given in India (for a total of 740 hours) to the Post graduate students with professional experience. The AMP will have 15 -30 Indian participants and will consist of 100 hours course divided as:
- Business French (30 hours)
- Seminar « European Business Environment » « (20 hours)
- Seminar « Financial Statement Analysis » (30 hours)
- International Seminar « Doing Business in France » (20 hours)
This program aims to complete the initial training of the Indian students by giving them an inter cultural context to strengthen their knowledge of European economy. The course will also enhance international business competencies, fundamental to operating successfully in an international environment.
A. STUDENT ADMISSION
Applicants for the AMP must meet admission requirements set by Great Lakes. They will be selected amongst the students who have successfully completed all of Great Lakes' graduation requirements in their PGPM.
B. PROGRAM ORIENTATION
AMP will be of 6 weeks duration. Exact dates will be announced shortly.
C. ACADEMIC RECOGNITION
Students from Great Lakes who successfully complete the requirements will be issued a University of Bordeaux Diploma in European Business Administration.
All the courses at IAE Bordeaux - University Montesquieu will be delivered in English.
E. PROGRAM'S OPENING REQUIREMENTS
The AMP will only be offered if a minimum of 15 Indian students, having paid all tuition fee requirements, are enrolled and accepted to the program. THe number of student in the AMP shall not exceed 30.
F. REGISTRATION FEES
Students of Great Lakes Institute of Management registered to the AMP will have to pay specific tuition fee of 1000 Euros. This does not include travel, stay & boarding expenses which would have to be borne additionally by the student.
G. CANDIDATES' RESPONSIBILITIES
AMP candidates must fulfil the host University's insurance requirements (social security and insurance documents) within the established deadlines.
