Srikant P is currently an Associate Professor in the Finance and Accounting area. Prior to joining Great Lakes, Srikant ran large proprietary trading books for investment banks for 7 years. He also worked as a senior consultant in the area of corporate governance and public policy at the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs.
Srikant's research and teaching interests lie in corporate finance and governance, management control systems, capital markets, and experimental economics.
Srikant is a Fellow of the Indian Institute of Management Calcutta in the field of Finance and Control. He also holds a degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Delhi, a post-graduate diploma in management from IIM Calcutta, and was the recipient of a Fulbright-Nehru Doctoral scholarship to visit the University of Michigan.
