Nixon Fernando completed his PGPM Flex from Great Lakes, MPG from MIT SOG, Pune and MSc Nuclear Physics from Karnatak University Dharwad (NET qualified). Nixon is also a part of the Accreditation team and the Great Lakes Publishing house. Prior to joining Great Lakes, he has served as the Course Head (equivalent of a Program Director) at the MEER’S MIT School of Government, Pune for a year. He has worked under Mr. TN Seshan, the mercurial former Chief Election Commissioner of India, as a research assistant for around three years. He is also currently co-authoring a book with Mr. Seshan and Prof Bala V Balachandran.

Nixon is currently engaged in the campaign called “Victory India”, taken forward by military veterans, aimed at improving the selection and training processes for the officer cadre of the Armed forces in India. He is also researching about the solutions to the challenges facing the governance and governments of modern India. The two published books are in this pursuit and three more are pending publications.
