Marketing Committee of Great Lakes organized its first event – ‘Brand Hunt’ for the academic year 2018 on 12th and 13th September in Campus. Under the leadership of Dr. D. Sriram, spearheaded by Aakaash Rajagopal PGPM 19 and Akash Balyan from PGDM 19 , the event witnessed participation of 119 teams comprising of over 350 + students across DM and PM batches. The event was split in two rounds, namely, Brand hunt Quiz and Treasure Hunt. The quiz started off with a series of audio, video, logo and tag line based questions. Around 8 teams won the round and got selected for Treasure Hunt, that had 7 clue based activities and a gaming round. The final round came to an end with two teams winning the brand hunt event, taking home a prize money of Rs. 7000.
The entire contest was a memorable one not only for the participants but even for the organizers. The marketing committee team made sure to guide everyone and carried out a flawless event. On the whole, Brand-Hunt was a Grand-Stunt that echoed the tireless endeavour of a family of aspirational students that were behind the eight line, ahead of the curve, dodging the bullet, pushing the envelope and thinking outside the box to create a wonderful enriching experience that was both fun and informative.
