Great Lakes Institute of Management is a dream child of Prof.Bala V Balachandran of Kellogg School of Management, Chicago.

This institute has been established with an objective of creating an international class management educational institution in Chennai. Great Lakes is supported by a very eminent Business Advisory Council and Academic Advisory Council consisting of luminaries from the Business world as well as the academia. This enables the school to deliver in the form of teaching, training, research and consultancy but also make it relevant to the needs of the industry in today’s globalized context.

In a short span of four years, Great Lakes has made a significant mark in terms of providing top quality MBAs, state of the art corporate training and executive education, consultancy services and research that is focused on India. The running theme in all the above has been to create a global mindset with strong Indian roots.
